Jakub Dołęga
– Regional Coordinator, Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship

Jakub Dołęga is a dedicated social activist whose passion lies in supporting children and young people, as well as empowering them to take an active role in public life. For the past eight years, he has been involved in non-governmental organizations, charity projects, and initiatives promoting education, mental health, and personal development among youth.

He currently serves as the Chair of the Council for Children and Youth under the Ombudsman for Children, where he represents the interests of young people at the national level. In this role, he oversees the Council’s work, coordinating efforts to strengthen youth participation in decision-making processes and to launch projects that support educational and social growth.

Jakub is the founder of EduCon, a pioneering initiative in Western Pomerania focused on supporting youth education. EduCon brings together experts from various fields to help young people develop key skills for the labor market and public life. Through this program, students gain practical experience, expand their knowledge, and build valuable networks that open new professional and social opportunities.

He also serves as Vice-Chair of the Szczecin Youth Council and as a Youth Councillor in the West Pomeranian Youth Assembly, where he actively contributes to initiatives benefiting young people in the region. In addition, he holds the position of Vice-Chair of the Evaluation Team for Strengthening Youth Councils and Assemblies under the Council for Dialogue with the Young Generation.

Previously, Jakub was the Coordinator of Ambassadors for the first edition of “Wyciskarka Potencjału” (The Potential Accelerator), where he managed a network of 170 ambassadors across schools in Poland, creating a platform for youth empowerment. He also organized the Academy of Youth Councillors in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship as part of the Polish Council of Youth Organizations (PROM) and is a member of the Polish Youth Association based in New York, where he works to strengthen international cooperation among Polish youth communities abroad.

Jakub focuses his work on creating opportunities for youth development, promoting mental health through education and prevention programs, encouraging civic engagement, and reinforcing the role of young people in public life. His mission is to help build a society rooted in dialogue, social activity, and mutual support among the younger generation.
