Maciej Kotala is an ambitious first-year student at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH).

He previously served as Vice-Chair of the Mazowieckie Youth Assembly — the largest youth regional council in Poland — where he worked with a team of 51 youth councillors and coordinated the efforts of 9 committees. He is also a co-founder of the Nadarzyn Youth Council and a coordinator of projects supporting youth development.

Maciej is actively involved in social, cultural, and educational initiatives. During his time at Jan Paweł II High School in Nadarzyn, he was a member of the Student Council and chaired the Student Promotion Team, managing the school’s social media channels, including Instagram and TikTok. He co-edited the school newspaper ELONews and co-organized cultural events such as “Woman – A Fascinating Journey Through Time.”

He also participated in the “Young Poland” program run by the School for Leaders Foundation, where he helped organize the intergenerational dialogue conference “rozMoWY – Conversations.” As a volunteer at the Nadarzyn Community Support Center for Ukraine, he organized a book drive for those in need.

For his commitment and contribution to local community life, Maciej was awarded the “Pearl of Nadarzyn” distinction and named Ambassador of Jan Paweł II High School in Nadarzyn, in recognition of his civic engagement and efforts to promote the school.

Currently, he is an active member of the SGH Student Government, where he helps organize events and projects that strengthen the student community. He is part of the team responsible for promotion and event coordination, including initiatives such as the Economic Knowledge Test, Student Job Fair, and ESGH – Sustainable Development Conference.

Maciej is also a member of the Student Scientific Business Club, where he contributes to major initiatives such as the AI Academy and the Mentoring Program. His work involves event planning, coordination with speakers and mentors, and providing organizational support — all of which help ensure the success of these projects.
