Imagine schools as places filled with understanding and support, where every student feels accepted, heard, and safe. Our vision is a community that treats mental health as equally important as any other aspect of life — one where kindness, care, and mutual support form the foundation of relationships between students and adults.
The Blue Mental Health Box is an initiative designed to help children and young people cope with emotional challenges and difficult situations. The project fosters school communities built on empathy, trust, and solidarity, where every student has the space to express their needs, receive support, and feel that they are not alone. An important part of the initiative is also education on mental health and raising awareness among students, teachers, and parents.
The mission of the Blue Mental Health Box is to create an accessible, anonymous space in schools that allows students to express their emotions, needs, and problems.
We strive to build empathetic and supportive environments that respond to the real needs of young people. Through the involvement of the entire school community, the project not only helps individual students but also strengthens human connections and promotes a culture of dialogue and openness toward difficult topics.
The Blue Mental Health Box is built on three key pillars:
Anonymity and Safety – Students can share their worries without fear of judgment. Every message is handled with care and confidentiality.
Empathy and Cooperation – The project strengthens relationships between students, teachers, and school staff, creating a community where caring for others becomes second nature.
Effective Response – Each concern is carefully reviewed and directed to those best equipped to help, such as psychologists or counselors.
We want every school to be a place where students feel understood, supported, and cared for. We believe that peer support and mental health education can truly change the current situation of children and youth. Through the Blue Mental Health Box, students learn to talk about their emotions, build healthy relationships, and support one another through difficult times.
The Blue Mental Health Box is more than a project — it’s a step toward a future where mental health is a shared priority. We invite teachers, parents, local governments, and organizations to join us in creating schools full of care, empathy, and support.
